This is a good no pull harness, functional harness Considering how inexpensive it is. I love the fact that it is reflective in the dark. I do wish I had paid a little extra and got one of the patterns instead of all black with reflector. Also, I’m going to order an American made product next time

I have a 2 year old 45 Ib. very energetic lab mix that is a strong puller! Walking her with a standard neck collar was a nightmare ....she would either escape by backing out of her neck collar, or she would just pull me all over the place like a rag doll. She would also make loud gagging noises with a neck collar, because of all the pulling she was doing. Well, I saw this harness on Amazon, and decided to give it a try. I debated on whether to order a medium or large (she’s 24’ around), but I decided to size up and order her a large. Which I’m so glad I did! The large fit her perfectly. This harness is absolutely a dream come true...it is perfect for strong pulling dogs that don’t do well with neck collars. This harness is so easy for me to put on and off her, its impossible for her to escape from, it’s easy to fit and comfortable, and it’s sooo much better to walk my dog with! I now have more control over during our walks, and finally no more embarrassing gagging or choking noises from her either! You can’t beat this harness! A+++++

I bought the large for my American Bulldog. He’s roughly 80 pounds. First few times I’d walk him, he would pull. Let me preface by saying he is a rescue (only had him for a few weeks), so I do NOT know his previous walking/leash history.
When he pulled I would stop, and have him sit until he calmed down. I then would walk and would do a quick jerking motion with the leash/harness, if he began to pull again. Now, he walks like a dream! Loose leash, by my side. It only took a few corrections for him to get the hang of it.
Previously, I used a British lead. That works well on my girl dog, but my boy is much bigger.
It’s great looking and very well made too. Love it.

We rescued a dog who had been on the run for a year. He was under weight at 47lbs. He needs to double his weight. But he's so strong and needs to learn not to be on the run. Regular collars and harnesses didn't work with him. He would choak himself and hurt us pulling. I got him this and it's been a game chager. He doesn't choke himself and the handle makes it so we have more control over it.

I'm impressed by the quality of this harness. Nice, soft padding on the upper portion, large buckle to snap your dog into it, wide straps (much wider than the Kong harness we had), quality stitching, vivid pattern. I love the handle- comfortable to grab and it gives you so much more control than a loop handle. The D ring is large and easy to attach to a lead.
For those choosing a size: my model in the pics is our Setter/Pointer/Clydesdale :) mix. He's 85 pounds and a year old. His chest measured 35" around so I bought an extra large. He is wearing it on the front and stomach with both straps cinched as tight and small as the harness allows. It just fits and has PLENTY of room to grow with him. If you have a large breed dog like a Newfoundland, go with the extra large. If you have a Pointer/Setter type breed or a larger herding dog (like an Old English Sheepdog), you may want to size down to a large. If you have a deep chested, 80+ pound, large dog (like a wonderful Bloodhound), go with the extra large. Measure your dog around behind the front legs and around the top to be sure.

The best harness I've use yet!My Lab-Pei just turned a year old, He's large and oddly shaped, so it's very hard to find things that properly fit him, and even though he likes being on-leash with harnesses, he tends to wear them out or break them very fast. But this harness fits him just perfectly, it controls him well when we're walking, and I love the handle on it to help redirect and move him around the house. It's very well cushioned. The price is great and it looks great, 10/10 on this thing!
-update- He managed to work together with our other dog to chew through the strap, but I'll soon be ordering another, this is seriously the best harness we've used

Great Harness! I have an 11 year old husky and a 3 year old husky/akita mix. The younger one is very strong and this helps me keep him under control without having to worry about him choking himself like on a regular collar. The older one I love this for because it's just easier on her overall. She even likes putting it on! Great Harness all around.

Your hound dog will love it!We recently purchased this harness for our 10 year old basset hound, Wilma. She's like a bulldozer when it comes to going outside and she likes going for walks and seems to pull. This harness has been really nice to use with our dog (and she seems to be happy with it as well).
This harness is very easy to put on/take off of any dog. In my experience, the size of harnesses seem to be a little larger than what is advertised on the sizing charts. I'm very thankful for the competitive pricing of this harness.
This particular harness has a padded jacketing that is comfortable and will not dig into the dog in any particular way. The material dries fast and is very easy to wipe clean should it get something on it. The strap adjustments feel solid and premium. The handle on the top is especially nice for holding a dog back. No more choking necessary if you're trying to steer them into a different direction.
The pricing is top-notch. Similar built solutions at major pet store retailers priced well higher than what this product sells for and having to load the dog into the car can be such a pain sometimes.Wilma and I look forward to trying other solutions from this seller!

Great product , I liked that the straps are super thick. My German Shepard has destroyed other collars and harness so I think this harness is perfect, it's a little bit to big for my dog but he is not fully grown so in a couple of months I'm sure it will fit perfectly. It's padded so it's comfortable my dog didn't seem to be bothered by it or tried to remove it, the handle is perfect for walks when I want him closer to me overall a great harness wort the price .

I just ordered my 3rd one of these for the same dog. I really like these and the only reason I need to re-purchase is because my kids will accidentally leave the harness on and my dog will chew through it. This is not an issue with the harnesss itself. My dog has slipped through the front of it but it was bc it was apparently not tightened all the way. Over time from him pulling (very strong 65lb pit bull rescue with no leash manners yet...working on it), it eventually will slightly loosen and need to be tightened (common sense) and again this was user error and not really an issue with the harness itself. My dog wears the Large size.

My Luna loved her harness! I bought it for a long road trip from GA to TX (a three day drive) and she seemed so much more comfortable using this while attached to her zipline than her collar. She was comfortable and secure. I'd recommend it. The reflective quality is excellent and the handle came in a lot of use.

I bought this no pull harness for my 50 lb, 21" at withers, tall/lean mixed breed dog. A large fits him great when cinched all the way up.
It is SUPER reflective and sturdy.
I will note that this is not a no-pull harness. That's not a criticism, it's just not designed as one, and buyers should be aware. A true no-pull harness clips has a clip at the front of the dog's chest to spin them around when they pull too hard. A harness with a chest strap is not going to stop your heavy pullers from pulling. If you really want your dog to stop pulling, you should go for a front clip harness or head collar.
That being said, this harness is really nice and sturdy, and a great choice for larger dogs. The handle really is convenient.

We love this harness! Our 8 year old pit mix has arthritis and I wanted a harness that wouldn't require her having to lift her legs to put on and this is just what we needed! It easily slides over her head and the strap underneath her stomach is to put on! She's not a huge puller so we don't have issues with that but it's nice that if she does pull it's not pulling on her throat or windpipe!
I like the handle for helping her load up into the car and to grab onto when we want to take pictures with her! Our dog trainer really loves the harness as well, it's especially great to older dogs and gives you a second place to hold the dog if need be! If you do have a puller it would be a great way to hold them a little easier if they were to pull after another dog or a cat they see.
Sizing: we got her a large, she's 48 lbs but has a broad pit bull chest. We adjusted it to the almost tightest setting and it fits perfectly! The large also fits my parents 80lb Bernese mountain dog! (The hardest decision for me was the size!)

I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars only because it doesn't fit my basset hound the way it should but it's still an amazing product and fits him pretty well. The product is super well made and everything seems pretty heavy duty. Everything on it seems like it will last. My dog was wearing it while playing in the water/ sand in a creek and nothing happened to it. I used the measuring guide (I have a 65 lbs. basset hound) and ended up purchasing the Large, but I wish I would have gone with the medium because I have to have it on nearly the tightest setting. Still a great product though, but it would be better for longer legged puppers.

Best harness/vest!!After my mom got this for her Rottweiler, I knew I wanted it for my Great Danes! It is such a good quality harness! I love the way it is completely one piece on the chest area! The buckle is very strong and big also. The rubber handle is perfect for quick grabbing and not having to search for it while you have a puppy on training. I got the pink one for my great dane puppy and she LOVES it! Doesn't bother her at all. I got her a large (she's currently 60 pounds at 5 months old) and there is plenty of growing room to loosen it when I need to as she gets bigger. Here are a few pictures of her wearing it :)

Good harness, very soft and sturdy. We wanted to get a harness to put on our boy when we took him for rides in the car. The d-ring for the leash is very sturdy, so is the clip on the underside strap, so it was definitely designed with stronger dogs in mind. There's no hassle putting it on, just slide it over his head, one strap under his chest, and it's on. The color's very pretty as well, and our boy definitely likes it.

I have a 91 pound german shepherd pup that pulled like crazy on collar this harness helps alot to train him to not pull looks well built hope it last for the price I think it's a good deal so far

Great harness but fit isn't perfect. We bought this for our new 58lb rescue dog, a chocolate lab mix. It took a while for us to figure out the proper way to adjust the sizing - but the woman at the rescue really liked it. The chest strap fits a little weird on our pup, probably because of the slope of her chest and the angle of the strap. So it fits her, but isn't perfect - maybe I can tweak it with the sewing machine so it's more comfortable for her. She wasn't a huge fan of it, but is kinda getting used to it - so we don't use it for walks as much, but more so when we put her in the car so the seatbelt attaches to a body harness, as opposed to a neck collar. The straps will also allow some Velcro adhesion, so I could put some patches on it to let people know to give her some space, since she's fearful of men and in transition. Overall, excellent quality and good for a handle to pull her back so you aren't yanking on her neck collar, if your dog is comfortable. Otherwise, our dog will sometimes hide from us if she sees us with it, but maybe because she associates it with the long car ride home from the rescue and she isn't a huge fan of car trips just yet.

We purchased the XL harness for our 112 lb German Shepherd. It fits perfectly, and he doesn't mind wearing it. Our only problem was that he knew the harness meant it was walk time, so he ran to the front door the second it was on. I guess that's something we need to work on. The harness worked great for taking him to the vet today.

Great no pull harness. There are some people on here who think that because this item is called "no pull," that means your dog will magically become a docile, pace walking zombie. Not the case, if your dog isn't properly leash trained, there's nothing humane you can buy to change that. This harness does give you control in emergency situations. I've already stopped multiple fights with the strap on the back. I have a German Shepherd and two Pit Bulls, I purchased one for each of them. If you have big dogs, THAT ARE ALREADY LEASH TRAINED, this harness is the best.
